Charlie is a 12 year old registered thoroughbred bay gelding. He stands at 17hh.

Charlie has been used as a trail and lesson horse at a summer camp facility. He is quite confident going out alone or with others and he is a great lead horse. He goes over any obstacles on the trail and does not spook. He is used to wild life, dogs, cats, vehicle traffic, tractors, an arena sound system and loud crowds.
Charlie has been used in both English and Western disciplines, responds well to leg aids, has a smooth canter, is good at lead changes, and enjoys jumping up to 2 feet. He was in a Western drill program for the past two years. He carries a flag with no problem. Charlie is sound at a walk, trot/jog, and canter/lope.
Charlie is UTD on farrier, 3-way vaccine, deworming and teeth. He requires little to no maintenance. Charlie has had surgery for “roaring”. This can still show up at a canter/lope. He loads and hauls well, and enjoys a good bath.
Charlie is quite cuddly and loves to be beside you. He will always come up to the fence for some good face scratches and is easy to catch.
Charlie does best with a confident rider. He would make a fantastic mount for a rider looking for a more experienced horse with a lot of heart. He would be a phenomenal 4H horse.
